KORISSA creates handcrafted home décor, storage, textiles, and giftable lifestyle goods made with natural materials including jute, seagrass, terracotta, and recycled fabrics. Founded by women designers in New York, the brand partners with artisan communities in Bangladesh to preserve heritage craftsmanship while expanding access to fair wages and sustainable livelihoods. Its approach centers on fair trade production, handmade craftsmanship, and consciously sourced natural materials.

The Seagrass & Sari Birdhouse (Cabin) is shaped to create a compact, enclosed shelter suitable for small birds during colder months or nesting seasons. Its woven structure allows airflow while maintaining a protected interior.
This birdhouse measures approximately 6 inches tall by 5 inches wide and deep, with a 5-inch hanging loop and a front opening sized at approximately 1.5 inches wide by 2 inches tall. Variations in color, pattern, and dimensions are expected due to its handcrafted nature.
How to Use: Hang securely from a tree branch, porch hook, or garden fixture to provide shelter for birds.
How to Care: Protect from extreme weather and clean annually with a brush and warm water to prevent buildup.
How to Dispose: When no longer usable, separate materials where possible and dispose of according to local waste guidelines.
