How to Use & Care
How to Use:
Turn the lantern's switch to the ON position before the initial charge. Position the solar panel in direct sunlight for approximately 6 hours, keeping the panel unobstructed and oriented toward available sunlight for effective charging. Once activated, the lantern is designed to illuminate automatically at dusk and provide at least 8 hours of light after sufficient charging. The lantern may be placed on a stable surface or securely hung by its handle. Although rated IP44 for outdoor use, do not submerge the lantern or expose it to pressurized water.
How to Care:
Keep the solar panel clean and unobstructed, as accumulated dirt, dust, leaves, or other debris can reduce sunlight absorption and charging performance. Wipe the solar panel and exterior surfaces periodically with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals. Allow the lantern and rope components to dry thoroughly after substantial exposure to moisture. Inspect the hanging handle and attachment points periodically for wear before suspending the lantern. During extended periods of storage, keep the lantern in a clean, dry location and periodically recharge it according to the manufacturer's instructions to help maintain the rechargeable battery.
How to Dispose:
Continue using the lanterns for as long as they remain safe and functional.
